Google Hangouts

With a free Google account, you can access Hangouts, a service allowing you to video call with up to ten people. It is easy to use, allowing you to share the chat link with you buddies or colleagues. They also have the option of joining your conference directly through email.

For business level usage, you can pay for G Suite such as the ability to stream directly to up to 100,000 viewers, record, and even save the meetings straight to Google Drive, among many more.

It works with most web browsers, and the Google Hangouts app can be installed for Android and iPhone.

ZOOM VIDEO

Zoom has become one of the most popular video conferencing tools since the Covid-19 pandemic reason being that its an easy reliable cloud platform that works across all devices. Zoom comes in four plans; Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.

The Free plan can host up to 100 participants, is unlimited to 1 to 1 meeting and there is a 40-minute limit on group meetings.

The Pro plan s great for small teams, includes 100 participants and the meeting duration limit is 24 hours. For the pro plan, you will have to pat $14.99 per month or per host.

The Business plan which costs $19.99 per month or host includes up to 300 participant and includes additional features like Company Branding, LTI integration, admin dashboard; to mention but a few.

The Enterprise plan costs $19.99. It is Large Enterprise ready, includes 500 participants and has unlimited cloud storage.

GOOGLE MEET

Google Meet is a re-engineered service by Google. It offers Premium Video meetings that is free to everyone. If you need to schedule a meeting via Google Meet, you create code that you then send to the participants as a link. The participants then enter the link and can be able to simply join the meeting.
