Work can be defined as anything; as that hustle, you do on the side, or that office job you wake up each morning to go to. Regardless, in any work you do, it is important to have work ethics. Here are five that you just have to, or else, you might as well say bye-bye to your work:
- Co-operation
Co-operation with either customer or your colleagues or even your boss is very vital. It will show your patience, and your ability to be always ready to learn and those two are kinds of the foreplay of any work relations.
- Attendance
Is your work the one from 8 to 5? Then show up every day from eight to five. If it’s a side hustle, show up even when there are no customers. Attendance is key, and everyone wants an employee or business person who is consistent in his/her attendance.

- Respect
It does not matter if your boss has said something that totally pisses you off, or a customer has come and has made an offensive comment. At that time, some people just check for your reaction. And if your reaction is still respect, they will back-off. Sometimes you have to kill fire with ice, and that’s what you are supposed to do.
You might silently plot your revenge, but remember to show everyone respect.
- Productivity
Every office, every hustle, every business deals with money. And the money goes to those who are more productive. So in anything you do, ensure you aim to be more and more productive each day.
- Teamwork
In an office, or in your hustle, you are going to have to partner with several people. We all know no man is an island. So any time, ensure you can be able to work together with your team to be able to achieve the maximum results.
