The youth suffer most in starting up a venture because of lack of capital. Are you an individual youth who wishes to start a commercial enterprise?
Youth Enterprise Development Fund is giving you a helping hand when it comes to funding your own business.You can get your individual start up loan that they have dubbed vuka start up.You can get a minimum loan of Ksh. 10,000 up to a maximum of Ksh. 2,000,000 with an interest of 6% per annum. There is management fee of 1% and a grace period offered for 1 month. The payment periods are as follows:
- up to Ksh. 100,000 ,a maximum of 2 years
- up to Ksh. 300,000, a maximum of 3 years
- up to Ksh. 500,000 ,a maximum of 4 years
- up to Ksh. 1,000,000 ,a maximum of 5 years
- above Ksh. 1,000,000 ,a maximum of 6 years
The applicant may use the loan for working capital or to purchase income generating assets. The start up loans will be granted to youth with alternative verifiable income and a viable business plan.
