Kenya has been ranked third in the highest new HIV infections among young people in the East and Central African region. This is alarming since the youth is the most productive in the Kenyan population. Young people are vulnerable to HIV at two phases in their lives. At birth, transmitted through mother to child and during adolescence stage. These two phases bring new vulnerability to HIV.
